New Snapdragon 835 benchmark results show up

To boost VR technology, Qualcomm focused on the optimization of two specific features in Snapdragon 835: thermal and energy constraints. The new CPU offers 25% faster 3D rendering and 60 times more color on the screen compared to the Snapdragon 820. Audio and motion image tracking have also been improved.

Now, however, a new test on the Geekbench has been released, and we have the Snapdragon 835 wrapping a Huawei model with 6GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat. In that test, the processor scored 6,439 points in the multi-core and 1,949 points in the single-core, which are scores well above those obtained in December. Qualcomm has probably worked on optimizations and improvements for SoC in recent months:

Taking into account this partnership between Samsung and Qualcomm, most likely the Snapdragon 835 will pack the new Galaxy S8. However, this should not be the first device to come with such an internal component, as other products should be announced with this chipset in the coming months.
